ICC give umpire Dill thumbs-up

Roger Dill has been re-elected by the ICC to their ICC Associate and Affiliate International Umpires’ Panel.The Bermuda umpire was named as one of two officials from the Americas region alongside Courtney Young of the Cayman Islands.Dill’s selection to the panel will enable him to stand in One-Day Internationals, Twenty20 internationals involving Associate and Affiliate Members as well as officiate in Under-19 and women’s international cricket.“I am extremely pleased to be able to congratulate Roger on his sustained high level of officiating that has facilitated his reselection,” Lloyd Fray, the Bermuda Cricket Board president, said. “This is testament to the high standard of umpiring Roger continues to exhibit on the international stage.”Dill was appointed as part of the ICC’s annual review and selection process that also saw Kenya’s David Odhiambo replace Theunis van Schalkwyk, of Namibia, on the panel.ICC Associate and Affiliate International Umpires’ Panel 2012: Africa - Jeff Luck (Namibia), David Odhiambo (Kenya).
