Board launches Easter cricket clinic
The Bermuda Cricket Board will host its annual Easter Cricket Clinic at West Pembroke Primary School between March 28 and April 1.
Registration for the camp for boys and girls age seven to 13 is now open, with the Ironshore-backed clinic costing $120 per child for the week.
According to the BCB the main purpose of the camp is to “teach the skills of cricket while enriching the lives of all of Bermuda’s children.”
The camp incorporates skill building activities and games to incorporate the skills they learnt in practice. Each day the camp focuses on a character building skill such as respect, fairness, citizenship and responsibility and players are encouraged to incorporate these skills into daily activities.
“The BCB clinics are an important part of our youth development programme which offers cricket coaching in the areas of skill, knowledge, understanding and the spirit of cricket,” Lloyd Fray, the BCB president, said.
