St George’s pair George O’Brien and Rodney Trott are out of contention for Cup Match as neither player has been included in the final trial match.

Stefan Kelly is back in the fold, however, with the seam bowler selected for the Vice-President’s XI, who will be captained by Lionel Cann at Wellington Oval on Saturday.

The President’s XI will be captained by Macai Simmons, who led St George’s for the first time in last year’s draw against holders Somerset in the East End.

Fast bowler O’Brien took two wickets for 45 runs last year, while all-rounder Trott claimed for one for 46 and scored 11 and 24 not out with the bat.
