Dwayne Bravo’s visit to Bermuda postponed
The Bermuda Cricket Board has announced the postponement of former West Indies star Dwayne Bravo’s visit to the island because of disruptions caused by Hurricane Melissa.
Bravo was meant to conduct high-performance coaching and player development workshops on Saturday and Sunday during a short trip to Bermuda. Practical sessions were slated for White Hill Field with Bermuda College the venue for the theory sessions.
To cap his presence on the island, the BCB had arranged a cocktail reception at Bermuda Public Services Union headquarters.
At the event, players, coaches, officials, sponsors, supporters and members of the general public would have been afforded an opportunity to further interact with Bravo and West Indies coach Andre Coley.
“Due to Hurricane Melissa and the associated travel disruptions beyond our control, we regret to inform you that this weekend’s Dwayne Bravo workshops and cocktail reception have been cancelled,” the BCB said in a statement.
“We are working to reschedule these events for early 2026 and will share the new dates once they are confirmed.
“Thank you for your understanding and continued support of this initiative. We look forward to welcoming you in 2026.”
