Senior national cricket team training squad announced
Bermuda Cricket Board has announced a senior national team training squad for this year’s international commitments.
The 25 -member squad consists of captain Terryn Fray, Delray Rawlins, Derrick Brangman, Tre Manders, Dominic Sabir, Zeri Tomlinson, Onias Bascome, Sinclair Smith, Marcus Scotland, Zeko Burgess, Luke Fulton, Luke Horan, Kevon Fubler, Dalin Richardson, Jonte’ Smith, Jermal Proctor, Alex Dore, MacQuille Walker, Charles Trott, Seth Campbell, Amari Ebbin, Nacori Smith, Chare Smith, Sharye Tavares and Nzari Paynter..
All those selected have been invited to attend an important team meeting next Wednesday, during which they will receive a comprehensive presentation from the BCB’s high-performance committee outlining the 2026 high‑performance framework, training expectations and the strategic direction for the national programme.
“This marks an exciting chapter for Bermuda cricket as we continue to invest in our elite athletes,” Lloyd Smith, BCB president, commented in a press release.
“The high-performance committee has developed a clear pathway designed to elevate our standards and ensure our national team is fully prepared for the opportunities and challenges ahead.”
Bermuda will begin their quest to qualify for the 2028 ICC T20 World Cup on home turf after being granted hosting rights for the T20 World Cup Americas Sub-Regional Qualifier, which will be held at the National Sports Centre from June 19 to 28.
The senior national team will also take on some of the region’s top sides in the North American Cup, scheduled to be held in Cayman Islands from from April 4 to 12.
