Police hunt more people over lambs attack

Two teenagers remained in police custody yesterday in connection with an attack on lambs.

Police said they are still searching for more people in connection with an incident at Westover Farm in Sandys, captured on a video that circulated on social media last week.

A police spokesman said the two men arrested on Tuesday were aged 19 and 17.

Officers earlier said the younger man was 16.

He added: “The appeal continues for persons with relevant information to come forward as additional individuals are being sought regarding this matter.”

Anyone with information should contact PC Melvin Best on 717-2385 or Somerset Police Station on 234-1010.
