Thieves stole a handbag from a woman as she walked along a Devonshire road yesterday afternoon.The 43-year-old Devonshire resident was on Watlington Road East around 12.30pm, when two men rode alongside her and grabbed her black handbag.It contained a cell phone, wallet and personal items.A police spokeswoman said: “The suspects fled the scene on their motorcycle heading east. The victim was not injured. The rider of the motorcycle is described as a brown-skinned male in his early 20s wearing a dark-coloured helmet and dark-coloured clothing.“The passenger is described as a brown-skinned male wearing a red T-shirt and a black helmet.”Anyone with information is asked to contact the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011.
