Police have been kept busy this weekend, with two unrelated incidents meriting serious investigation.

The first involves a case of armed robbery on Friday night in Pembroke, near Deepdale Road.

It appears that four victims were confronted in their home by three males dressed in dark clothing. The assailants made off with items from the house.

The second incident, which was domestic in nature, occurred this morning at 7.50 at a residence on Riviera Estates in Southampton.

Upon police arrival it was ascertained that two men were engaged in an altercation, with one of the men brandishing a weapon that appeared to be a mattock.
