Bag, phone snatched

Two men who snatched a handbag off a person on Pitts Bay Road in Pembroke have been reported by police.

At about 9.15pm yesterday, the 28-year-old victim was standing near Waterloo House when two unknown men approached.

Two two snatched the victim's cellphone, along with a bag containing personal items, before running off along Pitt's Bay Road.

Although the victim and several bystanders pursued them, the escaped on Woodbourne Avenue.

Police described the first as being a young male with brown skin complexion, wearing a white top with black sleeves, dark coloured pants and a black Nolan helmet

The second was described as being a young male, wearing a plain white shirt, dark coloured pants and a black Nolan helmet.
