A 33-year-old man has been arrested after an incident in which two people were stabbed in Devonshire early this morning.

A police spokesman said that the man entered a home on 3rd Avenue at about 5.30am. An argument ensued between him and another man, aged 38.

Both pulled bladed articles and stabbed one another, the spokesman said.

He added: “Both individuals were transported via ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.”

The 38-year-old is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The 33-year-old man was treated, released and arrested.

Details on the relationship between the two men were not immediately provided.
