Gunshots fired in Pembroke

Police have launched an investigation after shots were fired in a residential street.

Shortly after 11.15pm on Thursday, police found forensic evidence of gunfire on the road and on a staircase on Middletown Drive in Pembroke.

They also found bullets lodged in a nearby fence. No injuries were reported. A police spokesman said forensics officers combed the scene and officers from the serious crime division were carrying out the investigation.
