Emails about vaccination certificate errors are false

Warning: residents have received e-mails that claim to be from the health ministry

Government has renewed its warning of fake Covid-19 vaccination certificate e-mails circulating.

A health ministry spokeswoman said that e-mails claiming to be from the ministry or “the Covid-19 vaccine team” informing recipients of an error in their vaccine certificate were false.

The spokeswoman said: “If you receive or have received correspondence from islandtran@ibl.bm or conbea@northrock.bm asking you to review new instructions regarding Covid-19 vaccine certificates, please ignore and delete it.

“All official e-mails related to Covid-19 vaccine certificates are sent from the Government of Bermuda Covid-19 response team at BermudaCovidVaccine@resqwest.com.

“You can also contact the vaccine hotline on 444-2498 and select Option #2, or e-mail vaccinecertificates@gov.bm.”
