Police are investigating a fight at a Warwick hotel property that involved helmets, a knife and a machete.

A police spokesman said today that shortly after 10pm on October 22, police received reports of about 20 people embroiled in a fight at Azura Bermuda in Warwick.

The spokesman said: “A 23-year-old male sustained a non-life-threatening laceration to his arm.

“He was attended to at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for his injury and subsequently discharged.”

Anyone with information about the fight – particularly anyone with a recording of the incident – is urged to call PC Patricia Jeffers of the Criminal Investigation Department at 295-0011.
