A single gunshot was heard in Paget on Monday night, police said today.

No one was believed to be hurt in the incident, which happened in the area of Ord Road and Tribe Road No 5.

A Bermuda Police Service spokesman said than a 911 call was made at about 9.10pm on April 4 to report that a single shot had been heard.

He added: “Police officers responded and conducted inquiries in the area but, at that time, nothing was found to confirm the report.

“However, evidence was located later the next day, Tuesday, April 5, that substantiated a confirmed firearm incident.

“There were no reported injuries.”

Anyone with information was asked to call 211, or 911 in the case of an emergency.
