Police confirm shots fired in Cobbs Hill and Ord Road area
Gunshots were heard in the area of Cobbs Hill and Ord Road in Paget in the early hours of this morning.
Police officers received reports from area residents just before 12.20am.
The officers conducted searches and recovered forensic evidence to confirm a firearm had been discharged.
A spokesman for the Bermuda Police Service said: “There were no reports of anyone being injured at the scene of the incident.
“Checks made at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital indicated no one arrived at that location seeking treatment for any firearms related injuries.
“Officers returned to the scene today to continue their inquiries into this confirmed firearms incident.“
Police are asking anyone with information to call 211 or the main police number on 295-0011.
