Police to hold firearms training

The Bermuda Police Service will be carrying out firearms training for armed police officers this week.

The scenario-based training will be carried out in and around the Prospect, Devonshire BPS headquarters area, as well as Middle Road and Montpelier Road, Devonshire.

The sessions will be held from today through Thursday, between 9am and 3pm.

A police spokesman said: “There may be loud noises during each exercise and the BPS thanks the public in advance for their understanding.”
