A van that was reported stolen on Front Street yesterday afternoon has been recovered.

Kim Bell, one of the managers at AF Smith, said that the empty and highly recognisable vehicle was parked near the Supermart and stolen around 1.45pm, while staff were making a delivery to Customs.

The van, emblazoned with colourful shapes, was found more than an hour later in the Harrington Sound Primary School parking lot, with nobody inside.
