Burglars escape with electronic goods after raid on store

Burglars raided a Hamilton business this morning, stealing phones, computers and other electronics.

A police spokesman said that the burglary took place at CPR Cell Phone Repair store on Reid Street at about 5am.

“Initial information indicates that two suspects, said to be wearing dark-coloured clothing and dark-coloured helmets with visors, forced their way into the store and left with a quantity of electronic items,” the spokesman said.

The intruders apparently escaped on a motorcycle along Washington Lane, towards Church Street.

Among the items stolen were:

• RGB10max2 Game player 64G

• AirPod Pro 1st Generation

• MacBook Pro 14 M2 Pro

• M2 MacBook Air 8GB/512GB

• MacBook Pro 14 M1 Pro 16GB/1TB

• AirPod Pro Style TWS Headphones

• AirPod 2 Style TWS Headphones

• AirPod 3 Style TWS Headphones

• MacBook Air 13in 2020 M1 Chip 8GB RAM 256GB SSD

• MacBook Pro 16 2021 16GB/512GB

• MacBook Pro 2017 i5 8GB/512GB
