Man, 30, shot in Paget

A man has been taken to hospital with gunshot wounds after a reported shooting in Paget this morning.

At about 1.10am, Police responded to reports of gunshots in the area of Tribe Road No 5, just off Ord Road.

A police spokesman said: “Upon arrival, officers confirmed that one person, a 30-year-old male, had sustained gunshot wounds and was transported to hospital via private vehicle.

“The extent of his injuries are not known at this time. However, he was conscious and breathing.”

An investigation into this matter has begun and anyone who may have any information is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Anneka Donawa on 717-2250 or via e-mail at adonawa@bps.bm.
