A robber escaped with cash from the Four Star Pizza in Flatts on Friday night, according to police.

An unidentified man dressed in black, with a black helmet, a mask and gloves, came into the eatery, forced the cashier out of the way and removed cash from two registers.

The suspect fled on a dark-coloured motorcycle, heading west on North Shore Road.

The incident was reported to police at 10.40pm.

Anyone with possible information should call Detective Sergeant Lennox Ince at 717-2304, or e-mail lince@bps.bm.

A suspected impaired driver in Hamilton later that night crashed after fleeing from officers three times on a motorcycle.

A police patrol spotted a “disturbance” at 3.45am on Saturday on Reid Street near the Bungalow 56 bar.

One of the men involved fled on a motorcycle without a crash helmet when he saw the police.

However, he returned a short time later after the scuffle ended and rode off a second time on the motorcycle.

The subject was found on Court Street near Jamaican Grill and fled for a third time.

He was found by police near the junction of Two Way Mews and North Street, Pembroke, after losing control of the vehicle and crashing after mounting the sidewalk.

The suspect was treated at the scene by EMTs for non-life threatening injuries, then taken to hospital, where he was arrested on suspicion of driving while impaired.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Sergeant Marina Jn Pierre via the main police number, 295-0011, or by e-mailing mjnpierre@bps.bm.
