Pembroke residents reported hearing multiple gunshots early on Saturday morning.

A Bermuda Police Service spokesman said that at about 12.35am, police received a 911 call reporting shots in the Crossland Lane area.

“Officers attended, and upon arrival, found evidence to confirm a firearm had been discharged at that location,” he added.

“There were no reported injuries.

“Inquiries at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital confirmed no one had attended the facility seeking treatment for a firearm-related injury.”

An investigation is under way and anyone with any information was asked to call Detective Inspector Jason Smith on 717-0864 or e-mail jsmith2@bps.bm.
