A man was arrested today after reports of someone allegedly “tampering” with vehicles at a city car park, the Bermuda Police Service said.

It came as a video that appeared to be taken at Bull’s Head Car Park in Hamilton was circulated on social media.

A post on the BPS Facebook page said that soon after 11am, reports were received of a man “allegedly tampering with vehicles” at the multi-storey.

It added: “Officers were dispatched to the scene and, after conducting inquiries, arrested a male fitting the description of the suspect.

“We wish to thank those members of the public who assisted by providing information in relation to this matter.”

Inquiries continued and anyone with information was asked to call the main police number, 295-0011.

A spokeswoman for the City of Hamilton said earlier that the corporation had alerted police soon after it received and viewed the video.
