Public urged not to circulate double murder rap video
Police have launched an investigation to establish who is behind a rap video that makes references to a double murder last month in Somerset.
Acting Detective Superintendent Jason Smith also advised residents not to share the footage, which is circulating on social media.
Jasmin Smith and Shaquan Williams were fatally shot at the Legends Bar on May 1. Three others were injured.
Mr Smith said: “The sharing of this video is extremely disturbing. It only serves to cause further pain for the families and loved ones of the victims in that brazen attack, and cause heightened tensions among the wider community.
“Once again, please do not share it on but rather, delete it from your phones or tablets or whatever electronic devices on which you may have received it.”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Mr Smith on 717-0864 or by e-mail at jsmith2@bps.bm
Information can also be given through the independent and confidential Crime Stoppers hotline on 800-8477 or the community policing portal at portal.police.bm.
