Man injured in Warwick assault
Police have launched an investigation into an assault that resulted in a man sustaining a head injury this evening.
The attack occurred outside a private residence on Dunscombe Road in Warwick at about 8.15pm.
A spokeswoman for the Bermuda Police Service said: “It is believed that the victim was sitting outside the residence when he was approached by two males. Following a brief exchange of words, the man was attacked by the two individuals.
“The suspects fled the scene on a motorcycle headed in an easterly direction on South Road.
“As a result of the attack, the victim sustained a head injury and was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment. The extent of his injuries is unknown at this time.”
