Three arrested after fatal shooting
Police have arrested three men in connection with a fatal shooting in Southampton this month.
A Bermuda Police Service spokesman said that the trio, aged 19, 21 and 22, remain in custody after Kawaje Raynor, a 26-year-old father of two, was shot several times outside his residence at the Railway Trail on March 15.
Detective Sergeant Mark Raposo, the senior investigating officer, added: “Without the support of the community, the investigative team and units from across the service, we may not have made the progress we’ve been able to achieve thus far.
“Your efforts are greatly appreciated, however, we believe there are individuals who may have pertinent information about this incident but are yet to contact us.
“We urge you to please reach out and help bring to justice all those responsible for Mr Raynor’s death.”
Anyone with information who has not yet contacted police should call Sergeant Raposo on 717-2487 or e-mail mraposo@bps.bm.
The confidential Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-8477 can also be used, matters can be reported via portal.police.bm or people can speak to an officer they know and trust.
