Man injured in altercation at St George’s
A man was taken to hospital yesterday for injuries sustained in an altercation in St George’s, police said.
A spokesman said that shortly after 10am, officers were dispatched to a reported dispute involving two males in the area of Cove Valley Drive.
At the scene, it was ascertained that one of the males was injured. The suspect in the matter was located at a nearby residence, and arrested. He remains in custody at the Hamilton Police Station.
The victim was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries, which were described as non-life threatening.
