Bermudian cyclist Nicholas Narraway has signed with Competitive Edge Racing for the 2026 road racing season.

Narraway, 23, will race a full US road season with the UCI Continental men’s team, focusing mainly on stage races and multi-day events across the United States.

While the team races out of Massachusetts, Narraway is based in California where he expects to complete his Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration later this summer and he will travel to training camps and races.

Competitive Edge Racing is a non-profit team that relies on sponsors and donors to make international racing possible and Narraway is looking forward to the season ahead.

“I’m really grateful for this opportunity,” Narraway said. “I wouldn’t be able to keep chasing this level of racing without the support of the Bermuda Bicycle Association, Bermuda Olympic Association, the Department of Sport and Recreation, Appleby, and my family.

“Racing with Competitive Edge gives me the chance to do a full US season while still representing Bermuda internationally.”

Narraway heads into 2026 as the Caribbean Time Trial champion and Bermuda national champion and is targeting the Pan American Road Championships, the Central American and Caribbean Games, and the Caribbean Road and Time Trial Championships later in the year.

Having earned Bermuda a spot at the upcoming Central American and Caribbean Games, Narraway is hoping to earn selection in both the individual time trial and road race.

“My long-term goal is to get back to the UCI World Championships at elite level,” said Narraway. “I’ve represented Bermuda before at Under-23 Worlds and that’s still what I’m working towards.”
