Woman taken to hospital after bike hits wall in Paget crash

A woman suffered a serious leg injury when she lost control of the bike she was riding and was thrown over a wall last night, police said.
Traffic diversions were in place after the incident at about 11.40pm near the Newstead resort on Harbour Road in Paget.
The Bermuda Police Service said: “Initial information indicates that a woman riding a motorcycle lost control and came into contact with a wall, resulting in her being thrown over the wall.
“As a result, she sustained a severe leg injury and has been transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment.”
Witnesses to the crash were asked to call police on 211.
