Van and motorbike crash in Hamilton

A rider was taken to hospital this morning after a crash between a motorcycle and a van, police said.
The incident happened in the area of Brunswick Street in Hamilton, at about 6am.
Officers from the Bermuda Police Service and other first responders attended.
The BPS said: “The male motorcyclist was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the accident.
“The severity of his injuries is unknown at this time.”
Police processed the scene “out of an abundance of caution” and motorists were advised to use alternative routes until the area was cleared.
