Crash on Middle Road leaves woman injured

A woman was believed to be hurt in a crash on Middle Road in Warwick this morning.

Police attended the single-vehicle incident, which involved a car and a wall, near TN Tatem.

The Bermuda Police Service said at about 7.40am: “Initial reports indicate that an elderly female occupant was injured in the incident.

“The severity of her injuries has not yet been determined.

“She has been taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for further treatment.”

Traffic was being diverted at Burnt House Hill and Tamarind Vale Road, with motorists warned to expect delays in the area.
