Two riders in hospital after ‘serious’ North Shore collision

Police have reported a serious two-vehicle collision involving motorcycles on North Shore Road in Devonshire, near the Mid-Atlantic Boat Club.
The incident at 6.40pm left one rider unconscious at the scene, while the other sustained a serious leg injury.
A spokeswoman said both were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Police were processing the scene at 7.10pm and diverting traffic at Dock Hill and Barker’s Hill.
Drivers were advised to use alternate routes.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have information that could assist the investigation was asked to contact police on 211.
