Fresh appeal for witnesses to Sandys crash

Police have called for witnesses to come forward after a crash that took place on December 11 in Sandys.

A Bermuda Police Service spokesman said that at last check, a female motorcyclist who was hurt in a collision with a truck at about 9.30am remained in hospital.

He said: “That collision, at the junction of Middle Road and Halt Lane in Sandys, left the 23-year-old Sandys woman with several injuries.

“She was recently understood to be recovering in King Edward VII Memorial Hospital’s intensive care unit.”

Witnesses who have not already come forward were encouraged to contact Pc Naveen Kumar on 211 or to e-mail nkumar@bps.bm.
