A motorcycle rider is believed to have been seriously hurt in a crash with a water truck yesterday afternoon.

The Bermuda Police Service said that there was a collision between the two vehicles near the junction of Verdmont Road and St Mark’s Road in Smith’s.

They added: “Details are limited at this time; however, the motorcycle rider is said to have sustained serious injuries.

“Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area of the collision and use alternative routes to get to their destinations.”
