Rider injured in Pembroke crash

A male motorcycle rider was taken to hospital with serious head injuries following a single vehicle crash in Pembroke this morning, police said.
The Bermuda Police Service reported that shortly before 1.15am, officers and emergency medical service teams were sent to the scene of the crash near the junction of North Shore Road and West Park Lane.
Officers found the motorcycle rider lying unresponsive on the road.
He was attended to at the scene and regained consciousness before being transported by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for further treatment.
The BPS said the man reportedly displayed signs of impairment.
Traffic was diverted from the area and motorists were advised to use alternative routes.
