Investigations continue for crashes in Pembroke, Paget

A motorcycle rider seriously injured in a crash early on Saturday on North Shore Road in Pembroke remains in the Intensive Care Unit at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

The 46-year-old Southampton man was found unresponsive in the road near the junction with West Park Lane at about 1.15am.

A police spokesman said an investigation continued into the single-vehicle crash, and asked anyone with information to contact Pc Kayjuna Lema on 211, or by e-mailing klema@bps.bm.

Additionally, a female car driver injured at 1am on Friday after her vehicle overturned on South Road, Paget, near St Paul’s Lane has been released from hospital after treatment.

The 26-year-old Warwick woman was said to be driving west when the vehicle struck a roadside pole, then a concrete pillar and railing on the other side.

Inquiries continue, with witnesses who have not come forward asked to call Pc Rachel Benedict on 211, or by e-mailing rbenedict@bps.bm.
