Man remains in hospital after East End bike crash

A man continues to be treated at the hospital for head injuries after a crash in St George’s on Wednesday night, police said.
A spokesman said the man, 21, reportedly lost control of his cycle and crashed into a wall in the eastbound lane along Mullet Bay Road shortly after 9pm.
An off-duty firefighter attending to the rider at the scene informed police that he possibly suffered head trauma in the crash.
The man was then taken via ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for further treatment.
