Families interested in boarding school education in Britain can learn more at a free event this month.

The session is sponsored by Beach Education and will take place on May 10 and 11 at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute.

Fiona Beach, a director at Beach Education, said: “I am thrilled to showcase a wonderfully diverse group of outstanding boarding schools specifically invited to appeal to students in Bermuda.

“I encourage all families to come to our event and learn what options are available to their children including summer camps and scholarships.

“This is the eighth event I am hosting in Bermuda and I am delighted to be supporting so many families and highlighting the opportunities available.

“Each child is unique and therefore I am able to offer support to each family tailored to their requirements.”

British boarding schools Cheltenham College, Bishop’s Stortford College, King’s College Taunton, The Leys School, St Lawrence College, Ryde sailing school and Wymondham College, will have representatives at the fair.

Representatives of Brentwood School, which provides music scholarships and which has a fencing association, will be at the event.

Bredon School, a British school which specialises in dyslexia, and top school Fettes College which is based in Edinburgh, Scotland, will also be represented.

The event also will feature Downe House, an all-girls school in England, along with King’s College School, a British curriculum school, based in the Bahamas.
