Mount Saint Agnes students gain skills outside classroom
Students from Mount Saint Agnes Academy had the opportunity to broaden their “skills, perspectives and passions” as part of an off-campus programme last week.
Pupils from grade 6 to grade 8 pursued their interests during the Student Exploration, Experience and Knowledge Week.
Topics including ocean conservation, printmaking, heritage, science and technology, crafts and photography were covered during the workshops.
Anna Faria-Machado, the principal of the school, explained: “The week truly captures the spirit of what education at MSA is all about, igniting curiosity, encouraging exploration and developing the whole child.
“It’s inspiring to see our students so engaged in meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that connect them to each other, their community and the world around them.
“As Seek Week came to a close, the energy, creativity and enthusiasm of our students made it clear — learning doesn’t just happen in textbooks, it happens when students are empowered to explore, create and lead.
“MSA is proud to provide these opportunities that inspire lifelong learners, critical thinkers and confident global citizens.”
