Awards to the tune of $25,000 have been given out by the Bermuda Hotel Association to four students.
The BHA presented the grants for the annual Adrian Hassell Memorial Scholarship at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club this month.
The recipients for 2025 were Jessica Bucher, Mya Furbert-Jacobs, Alexis Pascall and Rahkeem Wilson.
Tim Morrisson, the chairman of the BHA, said that the association was “once again very pleased” to assist young Bermudians studying in various disciplines with “a view to making positive contributions to our island home upon the completion of their studies”.
The hospitality scholarship was named in memory of a concierge agent at the Hamilton Princess who lost his life in a boat crash in 2019.
