An air conditioning failure has caused the Department of Education to temporarily halt walk-in services at its offices at 30 Victoria Street.
A spokeswoman for the department said: “This temporary closure to the public is necessary due to a critical failure of the building’s air-conditioning system.
“This measure is being taken to ensure the health and safety of both the public and our staff.”
The spokeswoman said that while the physical office is closed to walk-in visitors, the department “remains operational”.
Members of the public who need assistance were invited to call the department on 278-3300.
