Career ready: the programme aims to bridge a gap between academic achievement and professional opportunity (Image supplied)

Applications are being accepted for the Graduate Apprenticeship Programme.

The Department of Workforce Development said the programme helps qualified Bermudian graduates gain “meaningful, career-ready experience” while building valuable connections in high-demand sectors such as healthcare, hospitality, finance, information technology and skilled trades.

Jason Hayward, the Minister of Economy and Labour, said: “The Graduate Apprenticeship Programme is a vital initiative that bridges the gap between academic achievement and professional opportunity.

“By creating training-to-employment pathways, we are helping young Bermudians transition successfully into the workforce while addressing the skills needed in our economy.

“The Government remains committed to empowering Bermudians and investing in our future leaders.”

Students who graduated between September 2023 and 2025 with a bachelor's or master's degree, are presently unemployed and permitted to work in Bermuda can apply.

Applications are open at www.dwd.bm. The application deadline is September 24.
