Knowledge Quest names 2025 scholarship recipients
Knowledge Quest has named 16 young Bermudians who will receive a helping hand as they pursue further education through its scholarship programme.
The non-governmental organisation, which provides needs-based scholarships, said that the recipients represented a “diverse array of academic disciplines, including medicine, arts and sciences, business and technology”.
Recipients of the 2025 Knowledge Quest Scholarship include Asia Seymour, Ceande'e Bean, Dante Waldron, Dhulche DeSilva, Einnajae Caines, Jade Johnston, Jaizae Smith, Jalair Trott-Richardson, Kahzi Sealey, Kandell Trott, Khadijah Iris-Daniels, Khiyrah Smith, Leighnae Lowe, Nia-Rene Outerbridge, Zakhari Turner and Zhi Williams.
The students are set to study at institutions throughout US, Canada and the UK including Nottingham Trent University, the University of Liverpool, Seneca College, Ontario Tech University, Dalhousie University and the University of Worcester.
A Knowledge Quest spokesman said: “We are honoured to support the educational journeys of these outstanding Bermudians and are confident they will continue to excel in their chosen fields of study.”
Since 2002, Knowledge Quest has offered support to more than 300 students and awarded more than $7 million in scholarship funding.
The organisation said that this year it had received a near-record 140 scholarship applications, highlighting the continuing need.
