Mirrors celebrates winning young artists
The Mirrors Programme applauded the winners of its ninth annual Art and Digital Competition at a ceremony at the Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art.
The event, hosted by the Mirrors Alumni and Friends Association, coincided with the opening of the tenth annual competition, which carries the theme “Our Island. Many Stories”.
Mischa Fubler, the government senator and junior culture minister, congratulated the winners of the 2025 competition, themed “Faces of Bermuda”, which asked young people to reflect on the people, identities and stories that make the island unique.
Mr Fubler told the gathering: “The pieces we celebrate today show remarkable creativity, vision and skill. Each of you has captured something powerful about Bermuda.”
Kimberley Jackson, the programme manager at Mirrors, added: “Your creativity and hard work have brought this year’s theme to life in unique ways.
“Each piece reflects not only talent but also your unique perspective of Bermuda. We are proud of your achievements and look forward to seeing your artwork in offices around Bermuda.”
