Somersfield invites families to information session
Somersfield Academy will host an event to provide information about its middle years and diploma programmes on Tuesday.
The session will offer families an inside look at the school’s International Baccalaureate continuum.
The hour-long event will start at 9am with a brief welcome by Charlie Judd, the head of secondary, followed by student-led tours of classrooms and learning spaces that highlight the environment.
In conjunction with the tour, applications are now open for the Equity and Merit Scholarships.
A spokeswoman for the school said: “These scholarships aim to empower academically talented students from the Bermuda community to access a Somersfield education and develop into socially conscious global leaders.
“Scholarships provide full or partial tuition support, access to a wide range of extracurricular opportunities, mentorship from faculty and leadership experiences within the school community.”
The deadline for scholarship applications for 2026-2027 is March 9, 2026.
Bursaries are available for families seeking financial assistance.
Scholarship and bursary applications can be found through mysomersfield.com.
The spokeswoman added: “Somersfield Academy is committed to making its IB continuum education achievable for motivated and talented students, supporting their growth as compassionate, reflective and principled learners ready to make a meaningful impact locally and globally.”
