Applications for Somersfield Academy’s scholarships for high school students have opened.

There are ten spots available for the 2026-27 Equity and Merit Scholarships for students entering M4 (S1) through Diploma Programme 1 (S3) levels.

A spokeswoman for Somersfield said the scholarships recognise “exceptional Bermudian students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential and a commitment to positively impacting their communities”.

She said the school was committed to talented students getting access to a top education regardless of financial circumstances.

Recipients receive full or partial tuition coverage, along with access to enrichment programmes, mentorship and leadership opportunities.

Applicants must submit an essay written by the student demonstrating their passion for learning, engagement in community service or extracurricular activities and alignment with Somersfield’s values.

Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview as part of the selection.

Applications for the 2026-27 academic year are due by March 9.
