Today hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager are to broadcast two shows from Bermuda next month.

As part of Hoda & Jenna’s Trippin' travel series, the pair will visit The Loren at Pink Beach, explore the island’s beaches and experience the local culture.

Guests on the show include chef Ryan Hardy and Bermudian singer-songwriter Mishka.

The pair announced on Today: “We’re taking the show to Bermuda. We have been waiting for this trip and it is finally here.”

Ms Kotb said: “We are so excited. We’ve got a Bermuda Bash and we’re going to soak in the sun; we’re going to enjoy the nightlife; we’re going to go shopping; we’re going to be eating …”

Ms Bush Hager added: “It’s all happening thanks to The Loren at Pink Beach.”

They revealed that thanks to sponsor Loren Hotels, the hosts would be bringing along a lucky fan and their guest.

Today will broadcast two shows from Bermuda — live on May 9 and taped on May 10.

During the week of March 11 to 15, Today with Hoda & Jenna attracted a viewership of 1.4 million.

Ms Kotb was in Bermuda in 2017 with the Today show and met Michael Douglas, the Hollywood actor whose mother is Bermudian. He spoke to Ms Kotb and former host Kathie Lee Gifford about what he loves about the island.
