Improvisers plan to offer hilarity in the name of charity at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute next week.

The “Stunnerset” and “St Gorgeous” teams will compete for laughs in the fifth Comedy Cup Match on July 18 and 19.

Toby Butterfield and Julia Pitt will lead each of the five-person teams and Gina Davis will umpire and award points during the hour-long shows, which will include audience suggestions.

Producer Alan Gilbertson said: “Last year’s Comedy Cup Match sold out and the atmosphere was fantastic — we’re aiming for this year’s match to be at least as much fun.

“Wear your team colours, bring your flags and make some noise for your team.”

Proceeds raised will benefit Family Centre and BUEI.

Tickets can be bought at bdatix.bm for $25, or $40 to include an additional donation to Family Centre.
