BUEI to screen award-winning horror film

An award-winning horror film will be shown at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute on Friday.

Sinners will be screened in the Tradewinds Auditorium from 6pm.

Written and directed by Ryan Coogler, the film received a record-breaking 16 nominations at the Academy Awards this year and won four, including Best Original Screenplay for Mr Coogler and best actor for Michael B. Jordan.

A BUEI spokeswoman said: “Blending supernatural horror with pulse-pounding action and powerful performances, the film delivers two hours and 17 minutes of powerful cinematic moments.”

Tickets to see the R-rated film cost $15 and funds will support the BUEI and Crime Stoppers Bermuda.

They can be purchased via Ptix.bm, buei.bm/events, by calling 294-0204 or visiting the BUEI’s Oceans gift shop.
