No trash collection on Good Friday, Easter Sunday in Hamilton
There will be no trash collection in Hamilton on Good Friday or Easter Day.
A spokeswoman for the City of Hamilton said trash would be collected on Saturday for bars and restaurants only, and collection would resume as normal on Monday, April 18.
She added: “The city reminds businesses and residents to store their wheelie bins in a secure location to avoid theft and any damage that may be caused during inclement or windy conditions.
“The community is reminded that the dumping of household trash in Hamilton from the outer parishes is in violation of the Waste Litter Control Act and may be punishable by law.”
