Dog owners and their beloved pets dressed to impress at the weekend during a charity event for the SPCA.

The animal shelter raised more than $4,000 on Sunday during their first Easter-themed Paws to the Park walk at Riddell’s Bay in Southampton.

The fundraiser attracted about 70 people and their canine companions. Participants were encouraged to dress themselves and their pets in fun costumes for an afternoon walk.

Attendees received goodie bags for themselves and their pets and members of the SPCA selected the best-dressed dog and pet owner of the day.

Winners will be announced later this week and receive a gift basket filled with pet products that had been donated by Noah’s Ark and the Bermuda General Agency.
